Where To Find Everything

Ever been thrown into a situation completely unprepared or placed in a job without a proper orientation? It can be pretty jarring, and make you feel pretty lost and helpless. While you're likely extremely excited to test out and set up all your products, let's take a moment to get your bearings straight and to become familiar with where to find everything in your brand new Nucleus Dashboard. You'll be so happy you did!

In this guide, we'll cover the following topics. Click on any one to jump ahead.


Where To Login

Ready to get to work? You can easily login anytime by going to: app.nucleus.church

As a church admin, once you've logged in with your email address, you'll always be given the opportunity to either view your personal account, or your Church Account. If you have multiple churches or campuses you help manage, you'll see them all in the list here - something like this:


The Overview Page

Once you've logged in and chosen to view your Church Account, you'll automatically find yourself on the Overview page. On this page you can easily see which products your Church Account has access to, view products you might want to add to your account, view product updates, and navigate easily to manage church information.

The prominent section of this page will be the products your church currently has access to. If you're on a free trial period, you will see all of our available Nucleus 2 products.

Each of these squares are clickable which allows you to easily access each product, where you can make changes or manage records.

Back on the Overview page you'll notice other links to helpful resources.

Starting from the top down, you'll see the Overview button.

This is the "quick" switcher and will allow you to navigate to and from all your Nucleus products easily.

Note: You'll see Church Settings listed at the bottom in the quick switcher. This is the only way to navigate to Church Settings as there is no tile for it on the Overview page.

Moving to the top right of the screen you'll see three buttons.

The first button is our Help & Resources button. (the question mark)

A new overlay will pop up with three option.

  1. Explore our Help Center
    • This will take you to our Help Center. It has hundreds of written articles that will walk you through broad questions, and specific use cases of our products. We also have lots of walkthrough videos on certain topics.
  1. Ask us a Question
    • This will pop up another overlay where you can send us an email, because sometimes it's nice to talk to another human 🙂


  1. View Blog
    • Our blog is a great resource if you want to find new ideas about how to manage social content, ideas for your website and many more things!

Moving to the next button. This is how you can navigate to other church accounts. (if you are an admin with another church)

The furthest right button opens another new overlay.

Clicking on, My Nucleus, will take you to your Personal Nucleus account where you can view all your submissions, gifts etc. More on your personal account here.

Hitting Get Support will open up the same support beacon that the Ask us a question button did, but with our Help Center instead. Here you can search your question and hopefully an article shows up that can answer it for you!

Smashing Latest Updates will take you to our release notes. Reading through these are a great way to stay up to date will all the latest releases.

Of course, if you're done with your curtant Nucleus session, Sign Out!

Immediately to the right of your products, you'll see an option to view our most recent release notes.

Finally, below the recent release notes is where you'll see a link to join Nucleus Insiders - a Facebook group specifically for Nucleus users. This group is a forum where you can ask for advice, get feedback, and the receive inside scoop from our team!


The Menus

As mentioned above, hitting the Overview button will allow you to navigate to any of your available products.

This main navigation menu can be accessed from anywhere in your Dashboard. (and throughout all of Nucleus)

Inside each product, you'll find the main menu is hosted along the top of the page. Click any of the available menu items to navigate around the sections and explore the admin tools available for that product.


Inside one of these main menu options, you will be often find two more types of menus that will allow you to view all of the available product options: a side menu and a sub menu. For example, in the Prayer product, if you choose Prayer Hub in the main menu, along the left side you'll see that you are presented with sections that all pertain to the Prayer Hub, such as Manage Access and Settings. 

If you select one of these sections, you'll also be presented with a sub menu bar that specifically pertains to that section. For instance, looking at the Manage Access section, you'll find that you are presented with a sub menu bar that allows you to update Privacy Controls, review requests from people to view the Prayer Wall, along with other options specifically pertaining to Prayer Hub access.


Where To Find Help

On any page of your church's Dashboard, you can easily get help by scrolling to the bottom of the page and looking in the bottom left corner. Here you'll be presented with two options: Find An Answer or Ask A Question

When you click Find An Answer, a small overlay will pop up with a series of help articles pertaining to the product that you're currently working on. Not finding what you're looking for? You can use the search bar to easily search our Help Center for your question.


If you're not seeing what you're looking for, or if you have a specific question, you may want to use the Ask A Question option. This will pop up an overlay where you can easily and quickly type out a message to our support team. Remember to include any relevant details so our team can get back to you with help as quickly as possible. 


If you're wanting to explore the entire Help Center and read up on any of the available Nucleus products, you can access that at any time by going to: https://www.nucleus.church/help


Where To Logout

When you're done managing your account, you can sign out through the dropdown menu in the upper right corner. (Simply click your profile circle.) Signing out of your account is an important step to ensure that your church information remains secure and not accessible to anyone without admin privileges, especially if you share a device with other people.


This area of your Dashboard is also where you can switch between your personal My Nucleus Account and your Church Account. Simply click the My Nucleus option in the dropdown menu.
