Step 2: Customize Your PrayerFlow Button

Do you use the Next Steps Launcher on your church website and are looking to install your PrayerFlow there? If so, click here.

This article is specifically for installing your PrayerFlow on a site that does not already have the Launcher installed. If you have the Launcher installed and follow this guide for the same website, your PrayerFlow will not load.

Now back to our regular programming 📺

------------

Once you've added all the website URLs that are safe for your PrayerFlow to load on, the next step is to customize your PrayerFlow button.

Note:
  • You do not have to customize the button of your PrayerFlow. If you wish to keep it the same as your Launcher, you can move onto Step 3: Install Your PrayerFlow On Another Website.
  • This guide only describes how to customize the PrayerFlow button itself. To design and customize the PrayerFlow itself, click here.

Choose a custom button color, shape & label

1. Make your way to your Prayer app and select PrayerFlow.

2. Select Share in the sidebar and click on Advanced Install.

3. Scroll down to the Customize Flow Button.

4. Click Choose Custom under Color.

5. This reveals a few different options. If you know what specific hex color code you want to use for your Flow, you can paste that in the Hex Code field. Otherwise, you can select from one of the Standard Colors.

6. Decide between circle, pill, or rounded for the shape of your PrayerFlow button.

The circle shape lets you choose an icon for your PrayerFlow button. If you want an icon, select one of the options.

Pill and rounded lets you add a short label (up to 35 characters). If you want your button to have text, choose one of these options and then type in your label, something as simple as, Send us a prayer request!

Customize the placement of the Flow button

1. Lastly, choose where you want the button to appear at the bottom of your webpage: leftcenter, or right.

2. If you'd like, you can also change bottom offset to increase/decrease the height placement of the button.

3. Conversely, you can also change the side offset to move the button further left/right of the position the button is place with the left, center, or right placements.

4. If you're needing to change how "far forward" or how "far back" your button appears, you can also change the z-index of the button to allow the button to load in front of or behind other elements on your webpage. (This is an advanced customization, so only change this if you are certain you need to.)

5. Once you're satisfied with the customizations, click the Save Changes button.
