Read First! Important Info On Transitioning From RebelGive
Looking to transition from using RebelGive's platform to using Nucleus 2 Giving? You've come to the right place! Below, you'll see all the steps involved in making this happen, as well as important information you need to know.
Tiered subscription prices
If you haven't noticed, RebelGive's pricing structure has changed quite a bit since we launched in 2019. Now we offer a range of price points, making it a more affordable platform for churches to use depending on their congregation size. Thankfully, Nucleus 2 Giving maintains that same tiered pricing structure.
To learn more about Nucleus 2 Giving prices, click here. But basically, if your church size is:
- 50 or less, you pay $29/month
- 51-125, you pay $49/month
- 126-275, you pay $79/month
- 275-550, you pay $99/month
- 551 or more, you pay $199/month
Note:
- Because we've made Nucleus 2 Giving even more affordable with the tiered pricing, we no longer offer scholarships.
ACH fee structure change
While on the previous subscription plans, RebelGive covered the ACH fees. On the new tiered plans for Nucleus 2 Giving, Givers cover the convenience fee for ACH fees just like they do for for credit card fees. But ACH only adds 25 cents to any size gift for the convenience fees, so it’s still an amazing way to save on fees.
Whereas the fees covered for credit card gifts are given directly to our card processor, ACH fees work a bit differently. Instead, the fees covered for ACH get deposited with their gift into your church’s bank account (e.g. $100.25 on a $100 donation), and then all ACH fees for the month get extracted once per month in the first week of the following month, by the processor. For example, if you had 4 ACH donations one month (25 cents each), the first week of the following month you’d see $1.00 extracted from your church’s deposit account by the processor.
New GivingFlow
While the GivingFlow experience will remain the same for the Giver, you will need to install a new GivingFlow on your church's website. This also means that anywhere you've shared a GivingFlow trigger link or your GivingFlow permanent link, you'll need to update those as well.
Unique to Nucleus 2 is the Next Steps Launcher. Just like with RebelGive, there will be a button that people can click on in the bottom right or left corner of your website. But instead of opening up directly to the GivingFlow, people will see various different next steps they can take, just one of which can be Giving (which would then open the GivingFlow).
Check out our demo Launchers on these two websites! You can test it out all you want and send in fake submissions to any Flow you land on.
New accounts & login locations, same login credentials
Because Nucleus 2 is a different platform than RebelGive, there will be a different place for you and your people to login to.
Instead of going to https://accounts.rebelgive.com/sign-in, people will login to https://my.nucleus.church
As an admin, you can also login that way, which will log you into your personal My Nucleus account. You'll just need to switch to viewing your church account as an extra step. But a quicker way to access your church account will be to go to https://app.nucleus.church
But because Nucleus 2 and RebelGive utilize the same base framework, no one needs to create a new login or account at all! They just need to go to a different URL to login on a different page. Everyone - including admins - can login using the same email and password as they did on RebelGive's system.
What about previous people and giving history?
Because Nucleus 2 and RebelGive share the same base framework, all people data, transaction & transfer history, etc. will be automatically transferred to your Nucleus 2 account. The same goes for Givers. When they login to their My Nucleus account, they will see all their previous giving history just as they had before when they logged into their personal RebelGive account.
Funds & transfers - new & improved!
Because Nucleus 2 is so much more than just a Giving platform, we've had to redesign where Funds and Transfers are located. Once Nucleus Payments launches, both Giving & Payments will utilize the same Transfers Panel and pull from the same list of funds. (This doesn't mean that every fund found in that list will show up in both the GivingFlow and for Payments. This just means the master list of all funds in your Nucleus 2 account are located together.)
Funds & Transfers are now located in Church Settings. Having these there instead of in the Giving app allows for greater admin control, where people might have access to Nucleus Giving, but not the Church Settings (meaning they might have access the Transactions Panel, but not the Transfers Panel).

Nucleus Payments
Speaking of Nucleus Payments, this will become available with Nucleus Flows. This means if you subscribe to Nucleus Flows, you'll gain access to Nucleus Payments at no additional charge.
What is Nucleus Flows? Think of a GivingFlow, only except for taking in online donations, you're providing people with opportunities to take next steps. Instead of clunky forms to obtain people's information or to let people sign up for small groups, for baptism, to contact you, etc. you can use Nucleus Flows to add as action items within your Launcher. So alongside the option to Give in your Launcher, people would also have the opportunity to sign up for various other events and groups, sign up to volunteer, etc. all within one location!

What's great about Nucleus Payments is that, if you have Nucleus Giving, both products utilize the same financial account information, meaning there's no need to go through the onboarding process with our card processor again. You can begin using Nucleus Payments right away if you use Nucleus Giving.
