Manage Your Church Profile Info

While it may seem inconsequential, your basic church profile info is more important than you might realize. Not only is this information critical for visitors to find on your website, but there’s another crucial piece of profile information that, when not set correctly, can cause any submission information (be it Giving, Flows, or Prayer) to be misrepresented. So be sure to read on to learn more about how to manage your basic church profile.

Initial Profile Survey

When first creating your Church Account, our system asks you a few questions about your church. Some of these answers help our Customer Success Team, while others pre-fill your profile information. Questions like: What’s your church’s name? What’s your church’s website? Phone number? Email? You get the picture 😎

Don’t worry - if you make a mistake, you can always correct these details in your profile here.

Speaking of which, let’s move on to double checking that all those details are accurate 👇


Double Check Your Profile Info

Though I’m sure you’re confident that all the info you provided in the initial survey is accurate, keep in mind that even just one incorrect character or number is enough to derail someone from contacting the correct email address or phone number. So it’s always good to double check that everything is free of error.

You can access your church’s basic profile information here.

For your church’s primary name (that’s the DBA - doing business as - name), make sure this is actually your church’s name. (You wouldn’t believe how many people enter their own personal name when answering this question in the initial survey 😅)

For your church’s phone number, don’t worry about adding any brackets or hyphens. Nucleus will add those for you.

For your church’s mailing address, as soon as you start typing in the street address field, Nucleus will generate some suggested addresses. If you see yours, click on it, and Nucleus will auto-fill the rest of the details for you. If you don’t see yours suggested, keep typing. While Nucleus does its best, it’s possible your address won’t come up. If that’s you, you’ll just have to fill out the rest of the address details manually.

If you need to edit any of your profile information, don’t forget to click the Save Changes button below.

Confirm Your Time Zone

The only question that isn’t asked in the initial survey is, “What is your time zone?” While this question may seem unimportant or maybe even strange, this piece of information affects all submissions across your entire Nucleus Dashboard, from Giving, to Flows, to Prayer.

By not correctly setting your time zone, submissions may not be filtered correctly, which may cause some submissions to appear as missing, while showing others that shouldn’t be seen.

So to avoid being heckled from our Customer Success Team, after we’ve been heckled by your finance admin when they can’t reconcile your church’s bank statement, make sure to set your time zone correctly 😜

If you’re unsure of what time zone your church is in, just do a simple Google search for your state’s/provinces time zone. Then, type that time zone into Nucleus here. Suggestions will appear as you type. Simply select the correct one.
