Manage All Your Flows

As you build more and more Flows, you'll see your list grow longer in your All Flows tab. As such, it can help to know how to most easily maneuver and manage the master list of your Flows.

To get started, click the Nucleus logo in the top left corner and select Flows. Click here for a quick link.

In this guide, we'll cover the following topics. Click on anyone to jump ahead.

View & Access All Your Flows

If you're just starting, you won't have any Flows created yet. But once you do build some, you will be able to access them by clicking All Flows. Here, you'll see them populate the list, where you can click to Manage the Flow you wish to, well, manage 😅

If you have several Flows, your list might become a bit busy. Instead of scrolling through to find a specific Flow, you can search for the name of a Flow to quickly find it.

You'll notice that you can't reorder your Flows in the same way that you can reorder steps in a Flow. Instead, your Flows will be displayed in alphabetical order. You can quickly reverse this order by clicking on the Name column.

The same goes for if you want to order your Flows by the Last Updated status. By clicking on that column title, you can choose to display your Flows in order of most recently updated to least recently updated, or vice versa.

Create, Edit & Duplicate Your Flows

To start building a new Flow, click + Create Flow.

Then choose between creating a Flow from scratch or choose from a variety of templates to kick-start your journey.

To edit any Flow that's already created, click Manage.

You'll notice that as you hover over a Flow, two new options appear, Duplicate and Archive. If you like a Flow that you've already created and think it would be a good starting place to build another Flow, click Duplicate.

Immediately, a new line will appear in your Flows table. Edit the name of the Flow and then click Create Flow.

Archive Your Flows

Hovering over a Flow, you can also choose to Archive it. This is helpful if your Flow has completed its purpose and you no longer need it cluttering your active Flows list.

To access any of your archived Flows, simply click Show Archived.

Here, you can still manage an archived Flow or you can hover over a Flow and choose to restore it.

Note: Archiving a Flow that is published will automatically un-publish it from anywhere that it was accessible on the internet. Choosing to restore a Flow will not automatically re-publish it, so you will have to click in to manage a Flow and manually publish it again if you want it to be active on the internet once more.

You'll notice there isn't a way to fully delete a Flow. This is because there are submission details associated with each Flow and by deleting a Flow, you would also be deleting any of its submission records. So to avoid any accidental erasure of submission data, deleting entire Flows is not possible. (You can, however, delete individual submissions while managing a particular Flow.)

To see the list of your active Flows, and not your Archived Flows, click Hide Archived.

Access Your SmartFlows

You'll notice at the very bottom of your list, you'll see a small section titled Smart Flows. This will contain two specific Flows that are pre-created with specific steps for online donations (the GivingFlow) and for submitting prayer requests (the PrayerFlow).

Because these Flows are managed in their separate products, when you click to Manage those Flows, you will be taken to their respective products in your Nucleus Dashboard to manage them there.

You will always have access to manage the PrayerFlow, but if you are not subscribed to Nucleus Giving, that option will show up as Inactive.
