Manage An Admin's Permission Levels

With each administrator you add to your Nucleus 2 account, you can give them their own unique admin permission levels, giving them access to specific products (or all of them), and in some cases giving them specific permission levels within certain products.

To learn how to invite a new admin to your account, click here. But for now, let's focus on how to edit an active admin's permission levels.

How to manage an admin's permission levels

1. In your Church Settings app, click on Admins. (You should be there by default when you initially go to your Church Settings.)

2.
Click the Edit Access button on an admin.

3.
Select/Deselect the products you want the admin to have access to.

4.
Below, choose the permission level you want the admin to have for each product. Do this by clicking on the dropdown menu and choosing the new permission level.

Note:
  • More permission levels are coming to our products in the future. For a description of each current permission levels, click here.

You can also remove access to a product by clicking the Remove Access button.

5.
At the bottom, choose whether to update the person record permission level you want the admin to have.

Note:
  • For a more detailed description of what each of the three options entail, click here.

6.
Click the Save Changes button at the bottom once you're satisfied with the changes you've made.

How to revoke an admin entirely

Instead of removing an admin's permission levels individually for each product, you can easily revoke an admin's access to your entire Nucleus 2 account. Here's how to do it:

1. In your Church Settings app, click on Admins. (You should be there by default when you initially go to your Church Settings.)

2.
Click the arrow beside the Edit Access button.

3.
Select Revoke Access. You will need to confirm your decision.

Now this admin will no longer have any access to your Nucleus 2 account.

Note:
  • The admin will still appear in the list of administrators as a greyed out line item. This is to allow you easily re-enable their access should you need to do this.
  • If you'd like to remove them from the list permanently, send us a message to hello@nucleus.church
