Manage Access To The Prayer Wall

When you activate the Prayer Wall as an action item in your Launcher, some people may wonder why they cannot access the Prayer Wall.

Prayer requests are typically very personal and private matters, so to ensure proper privacy settings are in place, anyone without an account associated with your church (i.e. anyone who does not show up with a Nucleus created profile anywhere in your Nucleus 2 Dashboard) will not be able to view your church's Prayer Wall.

To know who can view your church's Prayer Wall, take a look at your Prayer Hub privacy settings (specifically your allowed Connection Types) here. Whatever Connection Types are selected there, those are the only people who can view your Prayer Wall.

This means that, to view the Prayer Wall:

1. You need to be signed into the Launcher.
2. You need to have a profile in the church's database.
3. You need to have one of those specific Connection Types on your personal account.

This means that if you're signing in as someone who's never submitted anything before (even just through the PrayerFlow), your church account won't recognize profile even though you're signed into the Launcher.

Add to that, even if you have a personal profile in your church account's database, an admin needs to manually assign a Connection Type to your account that matches one of the allowed Connection Types in the Prayer Hub's privacy settings.

Once those qualifications are satisfied, you can then view the Prayer Wall.

Again, these qualifications are put in place in order to protect the privacy of people's prayers to only those whose eyes should have access to see those prayers.

To change someone's Connection Types, click to edit/manage an individual's profile and select one Connection Type. Here's a visual guide that might help a bit with that:

What about people who don't have a profile in our Church Account? 

It's possible that people want to view the Prayer Wall, but don't have a profile in your Church Account for an admin to change their Connection Type. (Connection Types on a profile must match the allowed Connection Types rule as set in the Prayer Hub Privacy Settings here.)

These people can go to your church's Prayer Wall in your Launcher and request access. These requests will land in the Needs Access section of your Prayer Hub where you can manually review whether you want to let them gain access to view the Prayer Wall.
