Tips On Using Banners & Info Cards With Your Launcher

While The Launcher, Banners, and Info Cards are all effective tools on their own, using them together creates a trifecta powerhouse to make taking next steps at your church incredibly easy and accessible.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. If you’re also using other Nucleus products, like Prayer, Giving, or Flows, you’ll be unstoppable! (For legal reasons, this is hyperbole. But seriously, the combination of all these tools is pretty incredible 😁)

To begin, you’ll want to go to your Next Steps. Click here for a quick link.

Note: The following relies on previous knowledge about creating and managing your Launcher, Banners, and Info Cards. If you need a refresher, click on any of the guides below.

In this guide, we'll cover the following topics. Click on any one to jump ahead.

Add Info Cards To The Launcher

While you can fire open an Info Card even if you don’t add it as a separate action to The Launcher home screen, adding an Info Card to your Launcher makes it accessible to anyone. While Info Cards can technically be viewed apart from The Launcher (installed on your church’s website), The Launcher is really where Info Cards shine.

When creating an action in The Launcher, you can choose to have it open an Info Card.

Go to your Launcher in your Next Steps. Click here for a quick link.

Next, click the + Add New button on the right hand side and create a title for the action in your Launcher.

Then, select Launcher Info Card and click Save New item.

Note: if you don’t see any listed here, this means you haven’t yet created an Info Card here. Click here to get started.

Now you can choose an emoji, write a brief description and save your changes 😎👍

Connect Info Cards To A Banner

While linking an Info Card to an action in The Launcher, to create an even more prominent setup, you can consider linking an Info Card to a Banner if you really need to draw even more attention to it.

This way, you can bring attention to your next step via a Banner, with the button on the Banner opening an Info Card in The Launcher.

And to bring extra cohesion, if you use Nucleus Prayer, Flows, or Giving, you can link the action in the Info Card to one of those tools so from start to finish things are just buttery smooth and seamless! (Click here to review how to change the action on an Info Card.)

This would present the following chain of events on your website: Banner 👉 an Info Card in your Launcher 👉 PrayerFlow/PrayerHub/Flow/GivingFlow.

So how do you link an Info Card to a Banner?

To connect an Info Card to a Banner, go to your Banners in your Next Steps. Click here for a quick link.

Then click the arrow icon beside a banner and select Edit or create a new one by clicking + Add new.

Scroll down to the Action section and choose Info Card as your action type. Then choose which Info Card you want the button to open in your Launcher.

Save your changes and you should be all set 😎👍

Preview Your Sweet Setup

At any point in time, you can click the Preview button to test out your setup. It’s always good to make sure everything functions properly and all aspects are linked correctly so visitors to your website have the best experience possible.
