Add & Manage Your Info Cards
Most people understand what websites are (a digital collection of pages with information or ways to collect information). But to see those pages, you have to be redirected away from the page you’re currently viewing to read what’s there.
Now, Nucleus is all about optimizing towards people taking next steps towards Jesus and smoothing the pathway forward. So now, imagine there was a way to quickly read a summary of what’s presented on another page without needing to leave the current page you’re on, while also simultaneously inviting you to take action? That’s the brilliance of Info Cards.
Info Cards give you a powerful way to present quick pieces of information and visuals while still prioritizing an invitation to action - all housed right within The Launcher! This is really helpful as a way to guide people to take their next step in a smooth, elegant manner.
To begin, you’ll want to go to your Info Cards in your Next Steps. Click here for a quick link.

Install Info Cards On Your Website
Info Cards operate through the same installation code as The Launcher, so as long as you’ve installed your Launcher correctly on your website, any published Info Card can load on your site as well - or anywhere else you use The Launcher (like social Link in Bio!) 😎
If you haven’t yet installed The Launcher, no worries! We have some visual guides for that.

When To Use An Info Card
While you can technically create an Info Card for every single next step you have at your church, Info Cards are best used for next steps where it would be helpful to have some introduction or preamble before actually taking that next step.
For instance, contacting the church is technically a next step, but likely doesn’t need a whole explanation before someone actually submits a Contact Us Flow.
However, when signing up for a VBS or camp, it might be beneficial to add some information and summary material in an Info Card with an action to sign up and register.
Again, think of Info Cards as a condensed version of a webpage that would have a full explanation of a next step. While there is no limit on how much text/information you can add to an Info Card, it’s best to keep it minimal, with only the most important information someone would need to know before taking their next step.
Note: If you’re familiar with Nucleus Flows, Info Cards are a great option to provide necessary context before someone fills out a Flow. This means you don’t need to add an Info Step at the beginning of any Flow. In fact, we recommend removing any Info Step you might have added at the beginning of all your Flows and converting them into Info Cards. This helps keep your Flow clean so when people access a Flow, they can begin filling out the Flow right away.
Create An Info Card
Note: While creating an Info Card is easy, there is an additional step to take if you want it easily accessible in The Launcher or from a Banner. Click here to learn more.
To create an Info Card, first go to your Info Cards in your Next Steps. Click here for a quick link.
Next, click the + Add New button to begin creating your Info Card.
The first thing to do as you begin to create your Info Card is add a card name. Immediately below that will be the content section. Here you can add a headline, sub-heading, and a header image if you like to the top of your Info Card. Only a headline is required in this case, but we do recommend you add an image and something small in your sub-headline to give it a complete and clean look. To add a header image, simply drag/drop or search your computer to upload a header image. Then, type in a headline and sub-headline and you're all set.
Below that, you'll find the Content or Body of your Info Card. All of your basic text editor tools are available here including Bold, Italic, Underline, Smart Data Attribute, Image & Emoji. Most of these are pretty self-explanatory, but let's break down the Smart Data Attribute tool a little more.
You can use Smart Data to show someone's First Name, Last Name, or Full Name (with a fallback, of course) if you want your Info Card to have a personal touch. This Smart Data will display when someone is signed in to the Launcher with their Nucleus account and has a name added in their profile. When used sparingly, it's a really cool, delightful, and subtle way to personalize Info Cards for your congregation.
The Action section is the final step in creating your Info Card. It's a primary Action button that displays prominently in the footer of the Launcher at all times as soon as the Info Card is opened. This way, the action you want people to take is never more than a tap away at any point while they view the Info Card. You can select from seven different action types: Flow, Prayer, GivingFlow, Page, External URL, email, and Dismiss. Below these action types is the Button Text where you'll add the text that you want reflected in the button on your Info Card.
Once you've completed that, make sure to hit Save Changes and you should be all set 😎👍
Share Your Info Card
So, you’ve created an Info Card. Now you get to share it with the world!
The quickest way to do this is by copying the sharing link and pasting it to wherever you want people to access it. You can do this by clicking the Actions button in the top right-hand corner of the screen, and then select Copy Sharing Link.
If you’re adding it somewhere on your website (as a button or hyperlink), choose the base URL that has https://launcher.nucleus.church
If you’re sharing it elsewhere (say on social media or in an email), choose the base URL with your church’s website URL shown.
If you don’t see your church’s website listed there, this is because you’ve yet to add it to your Install tab in the main menu of your Next Steps.
Note: Using your church’s website as a base URL for sharing an Info Card will only work if The Launcher is truly installed on your website. Click here to scroll back to the top to revisit this.
Two other avenues of sharing your Info Card is by adding to your Launcher and/or by adding it to a Banner. We have an entire guide dedicated to this here.
Manage Your Info Cards
While you can create an unlimited number of Info Cards, we recommend only creating ones for the next steps that would be helpful to have some introduction or preamble before actually taking that next step. Not only does this mean less time spent on creating a bunch of unnecessary Info Cards, but it also helps to keep your Dashboard cleaner and more organized.
You have a couple of different options available to you when managing your Info Cards. Simply click the arrow icon on the right-hand side beside an info card and select one of the following:
- Preview (the Info Card so you know what it looks like)
- Copy Shared Link (copy your shared link to either preview your Info Card or share it online)
- Edit (allows you to go in and make edits to your existing Info Card)
- Duplicate (duplicate an Info Card)
- Archive (remove an Info Card from the list and leave it in an archived section)
Preview Your Info Cards
Before setting Info Cards live on your website, you can preview what you’ve created by copying the share link and pasting it in your browser.
To do this, click the arrow beside the edit button and select Preview.
A new tab will open up, with the Launcher (either full screen or small depending on what you selected the Launcher size to be) and the Info Card loaded.
Notice beside the action button there’s a share button too?
With a single tap, a trigger link to that Info Card is copied so your people can easily share that link and direct others right to that Info Card so they can also learn more and take their next steps together. Pretty neat if you ask us 😉
