Preview, Publish & Share Your Posts
Just like anything you create and share online, it's always good to preview before you publish. Nucleus allows you to easily preview any changes you make, whether it's before or after you've published. So whether you're publishing the most polished piece of content, or you need to quickly change something after it's been shared with the world, Nucleus has got you covered 😎
Let's take a look at the various options. To get started, in Posts, click to edit the Post you wish to preview, publish, or share. Click here for a quick link.
In this guide, we'll cover the following topics. Click on any one to jump ahead.
Preview Your Post
To get a good idea of what your Post will look like on the front end, while editing any Post, click the Preview button in the top right corner. This will open a new tab in your browser where you can preview and interact with your Post, just as anyone else would be able to if you were to publish your changes.

If you've not yet published the Post yet, then obviously no one will be able to access your Post's content. But once you've published your Post, you can always make changes to it, and preview what those changes will look like before you update your Post.
Publish (Or Schedule To Publish) Your Post
When you're happy with how your Post turned out, it's ready to publish it. To do this, while editing a Post, click Publish in the top right corner.

Here, you can choose either the option to publish immediately, or select the option to add a date and time in the future for when this page should be published.

If you pick the Choose Date & Time option, you can enter the exact moment you want the Post to go live.

Either way, you also have the option to schedule a Post to unpublish as well. Clicking the option to do this, you can enter the exact moment you want the Post to no longer be accessible.

Once you're happy with your selections, click Yes! Publish Now.
What happens when you publish a Post? Two things:
- The Post is now accessible in the Collection that it's in, which means if the Post and Collection are set to public, then anyone accessing your Post Hub can now access your new Post. If your Post or Collection are set to private, anyone accessing your Post Hub will need to be logged into your website in order to view the new Post.
- Everyone who is subscribed to the Collection that the Post is a part of will receive an email notification that a new Post is live, with a link to view the Post. (If the Post or Collection is set to private, they will need to login to access it.)
Share Your Post
As discussed right above, your Post is automatically shared with anyone who is subscribed to the Collection that it is a part of. But what happens when you want to manually share the Post elsewhere? To find the full url for the Post, while editing the Post, click Share in the top menu.

Here, you can easily Click to Copy the full url, and use that to share on your social media pages, update any QR codes you may have for things like a weekly bulletin around your church, or update any urls that need to link to the latest Post for a particular Collection on your website.
Think your url is too long? No problem! You can always adjust your url slug by clicking Settings in the top menu and making changes there.
