Manage Your Emails (In A Campaign)

After writing a number of emails, you might have trouble locating a specific one from the past. Perhaps you want to duplicate it or archive it. (Or you’re just super bored and need something to read 😂) Either way, we have you covered.

To begin, go to your Messages in Nucleus People, and then select Campaigns. Click here for a quick link. Next, click to View the Campaign you want to add emails to. This will bring you to your Emails (as noted in the left sidebar).

Finding An Email

If you’ve interacted with lists of records in other places throughout your Nucleus Dashboard (e.g. your people database here), managing your list of emails should feel very familiar.

To locate an email first you'll want to click View beside the Campaign you'll be working within. Once there you can search for an email using the available search bar (searches can be partial e.g. if you’re looking for an email with the word Tuesday in the title, but you only type in Tues, any email with Tues in the title will appear).

Or you can choose to filter the available emails by their status (All, Draft, Published, or Sent) by clicking the Filters button.

Finally you can filter by the date an email was updated, created, or sent by clicking the Dates button then choosing a date range and date type to search by.

Remember to click the Apply button for your selection to take effect. Then you can reset your search to default at any time by clicking the Reset button on the upper right hand corner of any of the filter selectors.

Once you find the email you’re looking for, simply click View to the right of the email listing to see that email’s details.


Duplicating An Email

If you’re happy with the formatting of a previous email, or need to resend an email with just a few minor changes (like dates and times), you can quickly duplicate an email, saving you time and increasing your joy 😁

To duplicate an email, click the down arrow on it to reveal the dropdown menu. Then select Duplicate.

From there, you can give the email a new title and choose whether you want to duplicate the email to the current Campaign you’re in, or move the duplicate email to a different Campaign. (By default, it will be selected to duplicate into the current Campaign).

Once you’re happy with your selection, click Yes! Duplicate Now.

This will take you right into the newly duplicated email itself (inside the Campaign you selected) so you can start editing it right away!


Archiving An Email

If you’re tired of seeing a long list of old emails or you just want to keep your list nice and tidy, you can always archive an email. This will place the email in your list of archived emails, allowing you to revisit them down the road if you need them.

To archive an email, click the down arrow on it to reveal the dropdown menu. Then select Archive.

Click Yes! Archive Now to complete the process.

To view any archived emails, click the View Archived button.

You can search and filter for archived emails in the exact same way you can with non-archived emails.

You can also choose to restore an email at any time from your archive. Simply click the down arrow on it to reveal the dropdown menu. Then select Restore.

To go back to your non-archived list of emails, click the Hide Archived button.
