Invite Other Admins To Help (Nucleus Giving Edition)
After setting up your GivingFlow and adding it to your Launcher, the next step is to invite other people to help you manage your Giving account. Even if you’re technically the only financial admin on staff, we recommend inviting at least one other admin with limited access and permissions simply for accountability purposes.
In this guide, we'll cover the following topics. Click on any one to jump ahead.
Invite & Grow Your Giving Admin Team
We actually have an entire guide explaining how to invite other admins to your Nucleus account, with access to one (or multiple) products, with additional unique permissions.

That being said, there are a few specific items to call out regarding admin access and permissions with Nucleus Giving.
Two Areas Of Management
As mentioned in our Manage & Track Financials guide, there are two places to manage all of your transaction records: Giving and the Financial Account section of your Church Settings.
If you’re not involved in reconciling church bank statements with all transaction and payout (transfers) records in Nucleus, then you likely only need access to Giving.
But if you are involved in balancing the books and reconciling your bank statements, then you’ll need access to your Financial Account in Church Settings.
While there are several other components to your Church Settings that you or other financial admins might not need access to (like the ability to edit other admins’ permissions and access levels), we’ve created a specific admin level called Financial Assistant. This grants an admin access to the Financial Account within Church Settings, while not providing access to other parts of your Church Settings.
Reassigning Transactions
A special permission that can be granted per admin is the ability to reassign transactions. In Giving, this looks like being able to reassign individual transactions. In your Financial Account, this looks like being able to bulk reassign transactions from one person’s account to another (with exceptions and safeguards put in place).
To assign the permission to bulk reassign transactions, you can do this directly in your Church Settings while managing all your admins here. But to add the permission to reassign individual transactions while managing your Giving, you’ll need to manage your admins specifically within your Giving product.
To do this, go to your Giving, click on Manage, and in the dropdown menu, select Admins. Click here for a quick link.
Select Edit Access on an admin.
Check the box to also allow reassigning transactions. Then, save your changes.

Set Up Email Notifications
If you’re interested in receiving email notifications every time a new donation is made, you can easily do so as long as you’re already an admin for your Giving product.
In your Giving product, click on Manage, and in the dropdown menu, select GivingFlow.
In the sidebar menu, select Settings, and then click the toggle on each admin who wishes to be notified for each new donation made through the GivingFlow.
Don’t forget to save your changes!
Note: This will not show any personal details about any gift, but will have a button to log you into the Dashboard to view those details. This ensures safety and privacy for the donor and their details about the gift.
Changing The Account Signer
For every Giving account, our card processor requires a real human being on the other side of the processing account. This person is referred to as the Account Signer. (If you’ve already completed your processing application, you’ll be familiar with this already.) But, as time goes on, you might need to change who the Account Signer is.
In that case, please notify our team by sending us a message to hello@nucleus.church with the name and email address of the new Account Signer.
We then send an electronic document (via DocuSign) to the current Account Signer for them to relinquish their signing responsibilities. Once they complete their portion, it will automatically be sent to the new Account Signer for them to sign on to those responsibilities.
Note: This does not change the Account Owner of your Nucleus Account. This is specifically regarding the Signer of your Giving account. This person is responsible for signing off on changes to your processing account, like your bank account or legal name changes, etc. for your church. If you also need to change the Account Owner for your Nucleus Account, just let us know and we can help.
What Next?
Now that you have everyone invited to help manage your Nucleus Giving, it’s time to roll out your new giving platform to your church. (How exciting! 😁) Of course, you can peruse other fantastic visual guides below, too:
