Introduce Online Giving For The First Time

For tips on introducing an online giving platform to your congregation, we’ll actually rely on the phases laid out in the guide mentioned above, so you’ll want to make sure you access that blog here. 

The biggest difference between introducing an online giving platform for the first time and transitioning between two different platforms is the omission of Phase 3 (since you won’t need to prod anyone off of an online giving platform you were using previously).

Before entering Phase 1 (the announcement and articulation of the “why” behind using an online giving platform), you’ll want to make sure everything is all set up behind the scenes:

As far as Phase 2 goes, it will likely be helpful - especially if your congregation has an older population - to set up kiosks in your lobby with volunteers beside each one to help people navigate the GivingFlow on your church’s website. 

This can easily be done with a tablet of some kind.
